Here’s a little story that I find amusing. Perhaps you will as well. Last month I got Google Chrome working on my trusty old ThinkPad (Pentium 2) running Windows 2000. I was very pleased — this turned out to be a wonderful way to keep the old laptop useful and responsive. Frankly, since I first saw the video it has been stuck in my mind. I’m infatuated. The Cerulean Studios folks, probably best known for Trillian the all-in-one Instant Messaging client, are showing off a very incredible web based IM client — not unlike what Meebo has. I have access to the alpha release of Zoho Notebook [mentioned here] and have been playing around with it the last few nights. Down the road, after I’ve asked permission, I may make more of an orientation post with pictures and samples, but today I just want to get some initial thoughts written down.
