I picked up a new little gadget this week. I have to confess, I was seduced by how it looked on the shelf. Yup, I now own my first iPod – an iPod Shuffle 4GB (3rd generation to be precise.) I’ve only had it a few days so just a few thoughts to share. For I noticed yesterday that VMware Fusion 2 Beta was announced. Now, I’m not a Mac user so this isn’t really all that exciting for me — but I am curious about one point of the announcement: VMware Fusion 2.0 Beta 1 integrates importation of Parallels Desktop and Virtual PC for Mac virtual machines. Since that time, Safari (all versions) have accounted for 3.1% of the page views here. Of that 3.1% views were via some version of Safari. However, the Safari/Windows combination is at .30% here. I filter my traffic out, none of those were my No doubt, many of you probably have heard of the Safari security issues. Not to fear, there’s already an update to 3.0.1 available. If you already installed, be sure to go get it. [recent mention] As has been reported in many places today, Apple’s Safari web browser is now available for Windows (as a Safari 3 Public Beta). And hey, there are even plugins — not to be confused with Firefox extensions though. I first read about this earlier today at Scott Hanselman’s blog and it was his ravings about |
