[I promise that I won't become a "linux only advocacy blog." However, as I'm in the process of converting, there may be a few more articles about it than normal -- it is my current bright and shiny object!] I took the plunge and reloaded my home machine to be an Ubuntu Linux machine this week. This is software that allows you to run Windows apps on Linux and Macs. Yep, it is based on wine, but manages to take things to another level for compatibility and ease. I’ve used their Rich is pondering a switch to Linux. I was participating in comments there, but got too wordy and decided to fall-back to here and lob over a trackback for the next salvo. I’ve done the full-time Linux thing a few times over the years with varying levels of success.
