Due to the wonders of scavenging, my daughter is getting a “new” computer today. Nothing exactly modern, but I think she’ll notice the difference — and the home office will likely be a bit cooler too. Her old machine was based around an Athlon Tbird 900 (Asus A7V motherboard) that I built about 7 years ago. OK look, here’s the deal: I’ve always been ambivalent about having a “favorite” browser as I spend a lot of time bouncing around between Internet Explorer 7, Firefox and Opera.
