The Good News A new version was released this week. While I have little interest in most of the new features, the new look is a welcome addition. I dig it. I like the new notification style as well. The Bad News Installing Digsby has become a Here’s a little oddity I’ve noticed on my Windows 7 (RC) machine since I installed Digsby (the multi-protocol chat and social network client). Digsby itself works just fine, but keeps getting shoved into hiding. When minimized, the Digsby icon is always down in the Notification Area (what we used to call “the tray” back in the You can find more Essential Apps at the Essential Apps page (which was added at some point after this post was created). Due to my adventurous nature (along with hardware failures, indecision and general turmoil) I’ve had the opportunity to load some Microsoft OS’s over a dozen times in the past month on my own BeTwittered – I first mentioned BeTwittered in passing in my Social Bankruptcy post. It is one of many clients for Twitter, the popular micro-blog.
