Here’s a taste of what’s going to be announced tomorrow by the CrossLoop folks on their blog: Nice new features! I’m especially looking forward to giving the File Transfer a trial. I need to go find an excuse to give this a try (Hey, contact me if you see this tonight [7/9/07] and want to give it DivShare is a new file hosting service that seems, at first glance, ready to dominate their niche. Unlimited uploads, unlimited downloads, files online “forever” and all free. Crazy stuff. And wait, there are more features, including the ability to do some light branding of your download page and a nifty little dashboard to Pile of updates from the last few days. Zapr announced (then unannounced and now re-announced) a new beta version earlier this week. This is the one that I bet many have been waiting for — private sharing is in there! And apparently I’ve found a bug of some sort (why, yes I believe I’m the Chris mentioned). I love being a beta tester who actually finds bugs. (honest!) Alas, I’m still getting minimal love with my testing — damned thing I last looked at Zapr back in early June. I liked it a lot. Since then, they’ve made some changes and (one assumes) enhancements.
