Sweet — I received my Hulu beta invite last night. I’ve yet to spend any time with it, but it reminds me of Joost except it’s browser based and has shows I’d want to watch. Hmm… ok, that’s not really like Joost! (to be fair, it has been a few months since I last checked content I’ve been dabbling with Joost for a few months now (my first mention of it was in May). While I really liked the concept: All the things you love about TV, fused with all the fun and interactive power of the Internet. I just haven’t been able to get on board with the implementation. It seems Getting Joost invites has been, until recently, pretty much impossible unless you’re a well-connected person with well-connected friends. However, that’s loosened up this week. In fact, Gigaom has worked out some sort of arrangement with Joost that has resulted in a simple page with a simple form that will result in a Joost beta |
