Late last year I was looking for a Windows Mobile utility… without much luck. I wrote: Perhaps a more interesting utility would be one that changes notification sounds/styles depending up on the time of the day. Sure, keep on getting that email every 10 minutes, but after 7pm just flash the alert light and don’t vibrate Back in February of this year Google announced Google Sync — push syncing for Calendar and Contacts. I’ve been using it ever since with my Windows Mobile phone and love it but, like most folks, I’ve been hoping for the Email component… Yesterday, Google announced the addition of push Email support. The Dev.Opera site has a nice breakdown of the latest features: New rendering engine: Opera Mobile 9.7 uses our Opera Presto 2.2 rendering engine, which gives improved speed, 100/100 on the Acid 3 test, and many new standards support I was wrestling with an interesting challenge this week. Ultimately, I chased it down to being a driver issue. A clean install I’m a big fan of using my Windows Mobile phone and IMAP to keep current with my work email.
