I’ve been playing with a few “blog toys” yesterday and today. Haven’t made my mind up about any of them yet… but they’re interesting in various ways. First off, I’ve added a little badge for whos.amung.us at the bottom of every page. Lots of press about being acquired by Yahoo! for a (allegedly) very large chunk of change. Now, as a rule of thumb I tend not to get caught up in the whole “who bought what/who when” type stuff — I already lived through one bubble. |

That nofollow Thing
As many are aware, by default WordPress adds a rel=”nofollow” to the URLs in comments. The genesis of this seems to be from a couple years ago when blog spam (I’d imagine trackback spam in particular) was getting worse and the options we have now weren’t around or as refined.
