Quick Outlook Tip: Hide It

For some projects, I’ve found I need to spend some time with Office 2007 and (*shudder*) get re-acquainted with my old friend/nemesis Outlook.

Here’s a quick Microsoft Outlook tip. When minimized, you don’t need to look at it in the taskbar. Outlook can be easily configured to minimize to the tray (only).

Google Email Uploader

Boy, I sure wish this would’ve been around last year when I was converting an office to Google Apps for email!

The Google Apps Update Blog reminded me that Google Email Uploader now exists. This looks a helluva lot easier to use than what I cooked up a year and a half ago.
