The Pandora blog announced the beta of Pandora Desktop today. It runs on Adobe AIR and offers a couple new features that you don’t get from the web version. The biggest new feature is the ability to minimize it to the tray. Still get your music rolling but no “desktop clutter.” Another nice feature is the -or- How I got a Grooveshark account I caught a blurb about Grooveshark Lite this morning and decided to give it a look (see, Twitter can provide value). While I know very little about Grooveshark itself, I have to say that the Lite version is very cool! Grooveshark Lite Got a song or group stuck in your Being of “a certain age”, I have very fond memories of the musical style from the “A Charlie Brown Christmas” cartoon that I grew up with (sponsored by Dolly Madison!). Earlier today I received a comment nudging me towards Pandora Stations. A very cool site capitalizing on the ability to share “stations” created with Pandora.
