Pownce Shutting Down

Well, they gave it a shot but the micro-blogging site Pownce is closing the the doors December 15th. Looks like a couple of the folks and some technology are headed over to Six Apart. The Six Apart blog is encouraging powncers to head over to their Vox service.

Sorry Twitter But It’s You, Not Me.

A month ago I was pondering social bankruptcy, but since then I really hadn’t made any changes–until today. The recent and frequent twitter outages have inspired me to give that service up cold turkey.

Outages = aggravation. Who needs aggravation? Not me.
