A week or so back, I realized that the WP-Cache plugin was acting funny at this site. In hindsite, it probably started when I had (once again) switched back to using Spam Karma 2 as part of my anti-spam protection. To summarize: When new posts or comments are made, the cache should update or Seems something new started up last week and as a result the amount of spam comments and trackback spam that folks are receiving is sky-rocketing. In fact we had to sticky a generic post over at the WordPress.org support forums to help minimize the number of forum posts all on the same topic. |

Blog spam is a bummer, isn’t it? So much of it is automated and shows up as Trackbacks or Pingbacks. Without using decent tools, a blogger can easily find themself spending way too much time chasing this stuff around.
