My laptop sports a 17″ wide 1920 x 1200 pixel display. At the office I connect a 17″ 1280 x 1024 LCD to the side. I’d really like to add one more display to the other side, but there is only the one external (analog) display port. I’ve seen USB video adapters for sale for some Now that every monitor I use has “wide” tacked onto its name, I find I spend a fair amount of time resizing windows so that I can get two or three all visible at the same time. Might as well get my money’s worth and use all them pixels, right? For instance, when doing web A bit over a year ago I wrote “Want YouTube videos on your iPod?“, an article that received a fair amount of search engine traffic. While there were some options that worked ok, I stumbled over a new option recently. There’s not a whole lot of information about ConvertTube on their site (I notice the copyright Last week I mentioned that I was in the Hulu Beta. Since then, I’ve played around with it a bit more. I think I can summarize my thoughts with the word “neat.” Want to watch House, Firefly or tons of other popular past and present shows? They got ‘em. There are tons of clips from those I bought a new video card last week. An AGP video card. For those wondering why I mention AGP: that’s a lot like buying a new VCR for the home entertainment system.
