Here’s how it all started. A simple little message in Live Messenger from a co-worker: hey is it really you on this pic? http://msnprofiles.ms.funabc.de/viewimage.php?=billy@email.com (of course I’ve munged the URL and email a bit, but the email address would be your Live ID address) From there a day went from pleasant to crappy pretty quickly. I was looking for something like this last week but my search-fu must’ve been weak. However, last night I was looking over my phone’s mobile web shortcuts and spotted this little gem. I present to you: Windows Live Messenger, HTML Since I finally “discovered” Skype, I’ve had the chance to use it several times and continue to be quite impressed with it. My calls to India, for example, are remarkably clear. However, the memory footprint of it is rather… chunky. Today it (finally) occurred to me that Skype really isn’t the only game in town when Windows Live Writer is now up to Beta 2. The new look and feel is definitely the first thing you’ll notice, but there are tons of other new features and changes. And look — auto-save: Huzzah! Inline spell checking is sure to be quite popular (I know I’ll be loving it). Folks just dying for tables |
