Composing blog posts in MS Word and then pasting them directly into the WordPress post editor generally causes problems. Layout issues. Font sizes/faces. Broken validation. This is not really news… but based on activity at the WordPress.org support forums, people sure like to do it. Allow me to share a few thoughts. In general, this is mostly a maintenance or bug-fix release. I’m very happy to say that one bug that was driving me nuts has been resolved: Fixed: Pasting an image from Office 2003 applications now works (e.g. Excel 2003 graphs). Folks are always encouraged to be cautious with attachments on email, but if you’re using MS Word you want to be extra cautious.
