Pile of updates from the last few days. Zapr announced (then unannounced and now re-announced) a new beta version earlier this week. This is the one that I bet many have been waiting for — private sharing is in there! I think it’s nifty, shouldn’t you try it too? [continues from this post] The Zapr folks are being very friendly and responsive. And apparently I’ve found a bug of some sort (why, yes I believe I’m the Chris mentioned). I love being a beta tester who actually finds bugs. (honest!) Alas, I’m still getting minimal love with my testing — damned thing I last looked at Zapr back in early June. I liked it a lot. Since then, they’ve made some changes and (one assumes) enhancements. I’ve been sitting on a beta invite for the latest round for a week or so and finally had a chance to look it over today. Unfortunately, things have I’ve mentioned AllPeers a few times in the past and recently received my closed beta invite. Part of the invite was the chance to get a few friends invited as well (after all, can’t share alone!). I know for sure one friend installed, but not sure about the others. But moot point |
