Zoho has to be one of the most prolific web-based application companies out there in my opinion. These guys just never seem to stop! Lately my attention has been elsewhere, but some exploration yesterday really brought it home how busy they’ve been. Earlier in March, some scheduled maintenance was announced. This maintenance Some recent news from Zoho, the online productivity folks. They have some minor changes for Planner and some bigger new features for the the Writer and Sheets users. First off, they announced some updates for Zoho Planner early last week. Primarily focused on usability, so nothing new in the feature set. Lately I’ve been looking at things that have more of a “Getting Things Done” (GTD) angle to them. For instance, a bit over a week ago I checked out TaskFreak. It had a lot to like, but not quite enough to convert me. Seems like I’m always looking around for a new or interesting way to keep track of task lists. I’ve even had a series of posts on the topic (here’s the most recent). I stumbled over a new option earlier this week and finally had a few minutes to poke at it this Zoho Planner has become the organizing force in my work, personal business and home lives. I’m just loving it. Not that it’s perfect, mind you. But what is there sure works well. As I often do, in previous posts I’ve mentioned some wish list items that would make it even better (imho). |
